Mie(Mitsuyo Nemoto) and Kei(Keiko Masuda), high school friends from the city of Shizuoka, perfected a singing and dancing act that propelled them to the very top of the Japanese showbiz pantheon. They even had a TV show in the U.S.−the first and only Japanese pop act ever to do so. 　　Back in Japan, though, Pink Lady racked up a series of million-selling singles:"Nagisa No Shindobaddo," "Wanted," and "UFO."
